The President of Yarmouk University Dr. Rifaat Alfaouri has met the father of Sami Abdel Moneim Al-Hourani, the student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Hijjawi at the university, who died as a result of a shell landed in the city of Ramtha last year.

Dr. Alfaouri showed condolences to the father of the martyr, asking God to bestow him with His mercy and eternal paradises, and to inspire his family patience and solace in this great loss.

Dr. Alfaouri presented to the father of the martyr during the meeting a document in which the Department of Admissions and Registration at the university confirms that the student martyr Abdel Moneim Al-Hourani, has passed 144 credit hours, and it has recorded nine certified field training hours as of the summer semester 2014/2015, among the 167 credit hours to obtain a bachelor's degree in electrical power and machines in Hijjawi Faculty of Engineering.

From his part, the Father thanked Yarmouk University management, professors, and students for this noble stand in offering condolences, and giving him the document that the death of his son stopped them from the joy of his son’s graduation from the university, calling on God to count his son is like martyrs.

The Father noted with pride that Jordan made many like his son martyrs to protect our beloved country to assure stability.
