About the Department
The Department of Electronics Engineering at the Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, Yarmouk University, was established in 1993 and has since been dedicated to excellence in education, research, and innovation.
The department currently offers a dynamic Bachelor in Electronics and Robotics Engineering degree program, designed to provide students with a strong foundation in theory alongside practical, hands-on experience.
Our academic staff includes highly qualified faculty members with expertise across various areas of electronics and robotics engineering. To support both learning and research, the department is equipped with specialized laboratories, operated and maintained by skilled engineers and technicians, ensuring students gain real-world, applied knowledge in a modern educational environment.

Laboratories and Engineers
The Department of Electronics Engineering is equipped with a comprehensive suite of modern laboratories designed to support both education and research across key areas of electronics and robotics engineering. These labs provide students with hands-on experience in circuit design, digital systems, integrated circuits, manufacturing processes, instrumentation, computer-based electronics, and robotics systems.
Each lab is managed by a qualified engineer who ensures the equipment is maintained and the environment is conducive to learning and experimentation. Through practical sessions in these labs, students gain the technical skills and confidence required to bridge theory with real-world application, preparing them for careers in industry, research, and development.
