Hijjawi Faculty of Engineering Technology – Department of Industrial Engineering, in cooperation with the Jordanian Design and Development Center, organized a specialized workshop entitled "3D Printers and Fiber Manufacturing Processes." The workshop was attended by a select group of students and faculty members interested in modern manufacturing technologies.
The workshop was presented by Eng. Mu'taz Al-Ateen and Eng. Muhammad Al-Qasaymeh, who covered a range of important topics, including the fundamentals of 3D printing and its key industrial applications. They also highlighted composite (fiber) manufacturing technologies and their advanced uses. The workshop emphasized bridging the gap between theory and practice through real-world examples that enhanced participants' understanding.
Following the workshop, participants toured the Department of Industrial Engineering's laboratories to explore the available facilities and equipment, further strengthening their practical skills. This workshop is part of the efforts of the Industrial Engineering Department at Al-Hijjawi College of Engineering Technology aimed at developing students' applied skills, enhancing cooperation with the industrial sector, and keeping pace with the latest developments in the fields of manufacturing and engineering, in order to contribute to preparing qualified engineering personnel capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market.
