The Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University has officially launched its newly redesigned website, developed according to the highest global standards in design, usability, and academic content.

The new platform offers a modern, user-friendly digital experience that reflects the faculty’s identity and serves students, faculty members, alumni, and external partners alike. It acts as a comprehensive hub for academic programs, research activities, and student events—demonstrating the Faculty’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and engagement with both local and international communities.

University President Dr. Islam Massad praised the Faculty’s continuous efforts toward modernization, stating that the website is a practical reflection of the Faculty’s vision—a clear, modern digital platform that highlights its academic and research excellence as a leading institution in engineering education.

He added that this launch represents an important step forward in advancing the university’s digital presence, showcasing how academic institutions can integrate educational excellence with modern digital communication and engagement.

Speaking on the launch, Dr. Mohammad Alzubaidi, Dean of the Faculty and the lead designer of the website, noted that the site includes detailed pages for all undergraduate and master’s programs, with dedicated pages for each academic department. In total, it features 12 bachelor’s and 6 master’s programs.

These pages provide comprehensive information about curricula, learning outcomes, career opportunities, and promotional materials such as brochures and introductory videos.

Dr. Alzubaidi also highlighted that the site offers a full overview of the Faculty’s mission, vision, and leadership, along with a dedicated page honoring former deans who have contributed to the Faculty’s growth over the years. It also showcases the local and international accreditations received by the academic programs—affirming the Faculty’s commitment to quality and global recognition.

The website further emphasizes the Faculty’s strong research focus by featuring sections on research labs, specialized research groups, and a searchable database of faculty researchers.

A special section titled “Engage with Hijjawi Faculty” links visitors to three key areas: student clubs and societies, the Career Development Unit, and the electronic newsletter—reflecting the Faculty’s dynamic, skill-building environment beyond the classroom.
